Bio:

Laurie Zinberg proudly joined Drexel University in 2018.

Prior to starting at Drexel, Laurie worked in higher education for eight years in New York City before returning to her home state of Pennsylvania (Abington Senior High School proud!). While in New York, she specialized in advising and managing programs for international students and opportunity program students.

Laurie holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University and a bachelor's degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Outside of work, Laurie volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and can be seen walking rescue dogs around Philadelphia. Her favorite show is “Saturday Night Live” and is on a quest to find the best matzo ball soup in the city.

Her advice to you? Talk to your advisor! They are here for you and every question is important so you can discover and reach your unique goals. Challenges can arise in college, but it is how you adapt and speak up that makes you even stronger.

Laurie serves as a coordinator with the BRDIGE Scholars Program in the College of Arts and Sciences.
