Bio:
Jenny Rubin Weyant began her tenure at Drexel in 2002 in the Steinbright Career Development Center, and then joined the College of Arts and Sciences in 2008 as an Assistant Dean/Academic Advisor.
Jenny has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s degree in Social Work, and a master’s degree in Public Policy and Management. She is pursuing an additional master’s degree in Human Computer Interaction and User Experience.
For approximately seven years prior to Drexel, she was in positions that related to healthcare and government policy, and she has volunteer experience with conflict resolution, grant reviewing, and ESL instruction. She feels fortunate to be able to draw upon all of these varied experiences when working with students.
Jenny loves being able to provide guidance to students when it seems, on the surface, that reaching their goals is too overwhelming or confusing. She finds helping students feel less anxious or more goal-directed after talking with her to be very rewarding.
Her favorite experience from undergrad was being able to study abroad. She highly recommends it!
