Mr. Baiada is founder and managing partner of BaseCamp Ventures, a technology investment firm. He is also the founder and President of Basecamp Business, a provider of online project management tools including calendar networking. In addition, he is the partner of Grapevine Development, a South Jersey based real estate investment and property development company. His business ventures have been recognized for their contributions to technology in Southern New Jersey, and his Bluestone Software--sold to Hewlett-Packard in 2000--was named to Inc.'s 500 Fastest Growing Companies list. His company Bluestone Consulting (later known as Sengen) was sold to Business Software Solutions in 2003. In 2001, Mr. Baiada was awarded the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group's Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the New Jersey Technological Council's "High Tech Hero" Award. Mr. Baiada, a current Trustee of Drexel, established The Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology at Drexel, and he currently serves on its advisory board. At Drexel, he also serves on the advisory boards of the College of Information Science and Technology, the Smart Set, LeBow College (ex-officio member) and is on the board of Drexel e-Learning. He has also served on the College of Engineering's Advisory Council as well as participated in the Alumni Speakers Network. His brother, Mark and he sponsor the Bayada Award for Technological Innovation in Nursing Education and Practice. Mr. Baiada was awarded the Alumni Achievement Award in 2000 and the Electrical and Computer Engineering Distinguished Alumnus Award in 1998. In 2005, he was inducted into the National Commission for Cooperative Education Hall of Fame.

Robert R. Buckley, BS College of Engineering, Civil Engineering, 1958. President and Chairman of the Board, Buckley & Company, Inc.
Mr. Buckley has worked at his family's construction business since he was 14. He became Vice President in 1958 and assumed his current position of President and Treasurer in 1972. The company, which specializes in highway, bridge, tunnel, subway and marine construction, has worked on projects that include the restoration of Philadelphia's City Hall Tower, the Schuylkill Expressway, the Market East Station, the Walnut Street Bridge and the Vine Street Expressway. As gifts to Drexel, Buckley & Company, Inc., has completed landscaped several spaces on campus including Buckley Green, a restoration space at 33rd and Arch Streets, Buckley Recreation Field at 33rd and Cuthbert, in 2006 Buckley Hockey Field at 42nd & Powelton Avenue and, most recently, Buckley Court in the Armory. Mr. Buckley has served as a Drexel University Board of Trustees since 1991 and also serves on the Drexel's College of Engineering Advisory Council. He is the recipient of the A.J. Drexel Paul Award and College of Engineering Alumni Achievement Award, and he is a member of the Drexel Athletic Hall of Fame and the College of Engineering Alumni Circle of Distinction. In 2009, he was named a Drexel Conference Legend and also received the Sam Cozen Hall of Fame Player Award. Mr. Buckley was the Person of the Year of the American Society of Highway Engineers in 1997 and received the National Association of Women in Construction Award of Appreciation in 1996. He has been a member of the Board of Directors and a former President of the Associated Pennsylvania Contractors and the Contractors Association of Eastern Pennsylvania.

disorders. The company operates the largest chiral separation facility in North America. The Fine Chemicals business also has a production facility in La Porte, TX.
In Cedar City, UT the company produces the solid propellant oxidizer, ammonium perchlorate, which is used in the space programs as well as a number of critical DOD programs. At that location, the company also produces other chemicals for commercial application and the clean fire extinguishing chemical, Halotron. Prior to joining AMPAC, Dr. Carleone was President of Aerojet Fine Chemicals LLC, where he led a growing GenCorp business which developed, scaled-up and produced Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry. He led the sale of this company to American Pacific Corporation in 2005.
Before leading the Chemicals business, Dr. Carleone was the Vice President for Operations and Remote Sensing at Aerojet, and earlier VP of Tactical and Defense rocket motor programs. As VP Operations, he led a 2,000-person organization at three major locations representing over $540 million in annual sales. As VP/GM of Remote Sensing, he led the Remote Sensing Systems product sector which delivered satellite sensors for surveillance, meteorological and earth sensing systems.
Dr. Carleone also participates on a number of boards, both public and private. Joe is currently a Director of Sensient Technologies. He served on the American Pacific Corporation Board from 2006-2014, where most recently he was the Chairman and CEO prior to merging APFC with H.I.G. Capital in a public-to-private transaction. From 2003-2006, he served on the Irvine Sensors Board as an independent Director where he was a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees. He also served on the Board of Reinhold Industries from 2007-2010.
In addition to his degrees from Drexel, Dr. Carleone continued his education at the California Institute of Technology and UCLA Anderson School of Business in the areas of business and management. He has published over 45 articles and a book entitled Tactical Missile Warheads.

Dr. Chairnoff is a Founder and active Partner in SevenOaks Capital Associates, a commercial finance company in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, specializing in factoring for medium-and small-sized trucking companies and temporary employment agencies nationwide. He is the retired Executive Vice President and Treasurer of the former NatWest Bancorp, New York and its subsidiaries. He headed the Financial Markets Group and was Chief Executive Officer of NatWest Financial Markets Group, Inc. During his tenure at NatWest, Dr. Chairnoff served on the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, a quasi-public body that regulates the market for state and local government securities, and on the Board of the American Bankers Association Securities Association, the American Bankers Association Funds Management and Capital Markets Committee, and its Chairman for two years. He retired in 1996. Prior to NatWest, Dr. Chairnoff held the positions of Senior Financial Economist and Chief Lending Officer with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia for 13 years.
Dr. Chairnoff served on the Board of Hillel of Greater Philadelphia from 2010 to 2017. He is the first President of the Foundation for Hillel at Drexel University and is a member of the Advisory Committee of Drexel University's LeBow College of Business. In addition, at the Close College of Entrepreneurship, he advises students and alumni on starting businesses. In 1981, Dr. Chairnoff established the Vivian and Samuel Chairnoff Endowed Scholarship Fund. Along with his degree from Drexel, he holds a MBA from Florida State University (1962) and a PhD in Business Administration from Michigan State University (1966).

Mr. Close is the former Chairman of the Board of Expansion Seal Technologies Group, a global manufacturer and designer of pipe and tube pressure testing and plugging equipment; and former Chairman of the Board of CDS Analytical, a manufacturer of analytical instruments. Earlier in his career he was President of Continental Disc Corporation, Technical Investor at Kellet Corp, President and Chairman of Compudyne Corporation, and Founder and President of Fluid Controls Company. Over the years, he also published a number of technical articles on instrument controls and systems. Mr. Close was a Director at J.W. Microelectronics, Athena Controls, Kellet Corp., Chemical Data Systems, Instrument Society of America, and General Components. In addition, he was a trustee for the privately-held CDC Fund. He is a member of the Alumni Circle of Distinction for the College of Engineering.

Mr. Daskalakis is Partner for Jon-Cin & Son Ltd. Partnership in Lutherville, Maryland, which deals with investments and wealth management. He is also a Partner of Fleet Talk Partners 900, a company providing two way radio and car telephone service. Mr. Daskalakis is a Director of the American Mobile Telecommunications Association. Until 2002, he was a Partner in Maryland Baseball Limited Partnership, Laurel, Marylan, which owned three minor league affiliates of the Baltimore Orioles. He was also the President of Bee Hive, Inc. and TRS Communications, Inc., which provided trunked radio service across the country. Mr. Daskalakis is a member of the Alumni Circle of distinction for the College of Engineering and a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame. The John A. Daskalakis Center, home of the Drexel Dragons basketball and volleyball teams, is named in his honor. In 2001, he established the John A. Daskalakis Endowed Operating Fund for Men's Lacrosse. In 2008, he was inducted into the National Commission for Cooperative Education Hall of Fame.

Dr. Eisenstein served as Interim Dean of Engineering from 2010-2012, and he continues to be the Arthur J. Rowland Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Drexel. In addition to his current positions, Dr. Eisenstein has served Drexel as Department Head, Associate Dean of the Graduate School, Associate Dean of Engineering, and on numerous strategic planning committees. Dr. Eisenstein has published 50 papers in the areas of digital signal processing, pattern recognition, deconvolution, and biomedical engineering. In 1993, he was honored with the Philadelphia Section Award by the Philadelphia Section of IEEE, and he was named Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year in 2000. In 2000, he was elected president of the IEEE, the largest professional/technical organization in the world, currently with 400,000 members. As an industry consultant, Dr. Eisenstein has provided his expertise to municipalities in the area of siting of cellular telecommunications towers and antennas, and he has been an expert witness for product liability, intellectual property and business opportunities.

Dr. Bruce E. Maryanoff was a Distinguished Research Fellow at Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development. He retired in 2009 after 36 years of service and is now active with The Scripps Research Institute, LaJolla, California, and the Pennsylvania Drug Discovery Institute, Doylestown, PA. Dr. Maryanoff has been the recipient of major awards from the American Chemical Society (ACS) for his research in 2000, 2003 and 2009, and he has won Johnson & Johnson's Philip B. Hoffman Research Scientist award twice. He is the inventor of topiramate, a novel anti-epileptic drug, for which he received the prestigious Johnson Medal from Johnson & Johnson. He holds 70 United States patents and has 270 scientific publications to his credit, including the multi-volume Advances in Medicinal Chemistry, co-edited with his wife, Cynthia Maryanoff, PhD. Dr. Maryanoff is a member of a number of chemical societies and was elected Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), the ACS, and the Royal Society of Chemistry. Dr. Maryanoff is a member of Drexel's College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board, and he established with his wife the Bruce and Cynthia Maryanoff Endowed Chemistry Prize. He is a recipient of a Distinguished Alumnus Award for Drexel and, in 2002, was inducted into the National Commission for Cooperative Education Hall of Fame.

Dr. Cynthia A. Maryanoff is a Distinguished Research Fellow at the Cordis Corporation and the former global head of Drug Evaluation, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Development for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Research & Development. Dr. Maryanoff has been the recipient of several honors, including the Merck Award in Chemistry, Johnson & Johnson's Philip B. Hoffman Research Scientist Award, the American Chemical Society's Henry F. Whalen Jr. Award for Business Development and the Garvan-Olin Medal. She holds 20 United States patents and has over 80 scientific publications to her credit, including the multi-volume Advances in Medicinal Chemistry, co-edited with her husband, Bruce Maryanoff, PhD. A Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, Dr. Maryanoff is a member of a number chemistry societies and scientific journal advisory boards, and she has served in a wide range of official positions, including Chair of the American Chemical Society Division of Organic Chemistry. Dr. Maryanoff is a member of Drexel's College of Arts and Sciences Advisory Boards and a recipient of a Distinguished Alumna Award. Dr. Montgomery is the Dean of Libraries Emeritus and former Professor of Information Science and Technology at Drexel University. She has been a library researcher, educator, and administrator for more than thirty years and is the author and editor of five books. Dr. Montgomery has served on the North American Library Advisory Board of Elsevier Science, and she is a past member of the Board of Trustees of PALINET. She has also served as a delegate to the Online Computer Library Center and served on the advisory committee of the AIDS Library of Philadelphia. She has been awarded many government and foundation grants and has served on review panels for the National Library of Medicine, the Institute for Museum and Library Services and the Middle States higher education accreditation body. She has been honored with the First Robert Preston Lee Award of the Philadelphia Regional Chapter of the Medical Library Association, the American Society for Information Science Chapter of the Year Award, and is a member of the Beta Phi Mu Honorary Library Society. She is a member of the American Library Association, American Society for Information Science, and the Association for Library and Information Science Education.

Mr. Orleans is the Chief Executive Officer of J.P. Orleans Development, LLC. He had served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Orleans Homebuilders until 2010. Under his leadership, Orleans Homebuilders had been recognized for its outstanding performance by both Fortune and Forbes magazines. Mr. Orleans currently sits on the Board of Thomas Jefferson University. He has served on the Drexel Board of Trustees and on the LeBow Dean's Advisory Board. Mr. Orleans is a Lifetime Director of the National Association of Homebuilders; Director, Past President and Lifetime Member of Builders' League of South Jersey; and President of the Lower Merion Township Police Pension Association. He is a former Trustee or Board Member of Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts; Philadelphia Orchestra; Philadelphia Police Foundation; Jewish Employment and Vocational Services; and Delaware Valley Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Orleans has received a Commendation from the City of Hope National Medical Center; named Businessman of the Year by the Pennsylvania Directors Association for Community Action, and selected as Man of the Year by the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science. In keeping with his family's custom of giving back to the community, Mr. Orleans participates in a variety of philanthropic pursuits, including the arts, education and social programs.

Mr. Pierce is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of ABB Inc., the American operating unit of global industrial, energy and automation provider ABB Group, headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. Pierce previously served as President of Steam Power Plants and Environmental Systems of ABB Inc. He had also been Group Executive Vice President - The Americas Region and member of ABB Ltd. Group Executive Committee. In addition, he had been President of ABB China Ltd. Mr. Pierce now serves as a Director of Ambient Corporation, Harsco Corporation and Clyde Bergemann, Inc. He has also served as a Director of the U.S. - China Business Council, the National Association of Manufacturers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Foundation and as a Trustee of the Eisenhower Exchange Fellowships. In addition, he has also been a member of the Business Roundtable. At Drexel, in 2002, he received the Mary S. Along with his degree from Drexel, Mr. Stratakis earned a JD from New York University in 1955. He is a Senior Partner with the law firm of Poles, Tublin, Stratakis & Gonzalez, LLP. He is a member of the bar in the State of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. He has been with the firm since 1960 and focuses his practice primarily on admiralty and international law. He has also lectured in the United States and abroad on legal and historical subjects and served as arbitrator in New York on maritime matters. He is a longtime member of the American Bar Association and the Maritime Law Association of the United States. Mr. Stratakis is Chairman of the Queens College Center for Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies Advisory Council and the Honorary Legal Advisor to the Greek Consular Harbor Master of New York. He is also the longtime Legal Advisor to the Panchiaki "Korais" Society Inc. of New York. Mr. Stratakis is listed in Who is Who in American Law and has been awarded the St. Paul's Award, the Layman's Award from the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America and the Medal of Merit from the Government of Greece. He is an Archon Notarios of the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Legal Counselor of the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle. In 2001, he received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and, in 1977, Mr. Stratakis received Drexel's Distinguished Alumni Award. He is also the recipient of the A.J. Drexel Paul Award, 2005-2006. Mr. Stratakis has been an emeritus member of the Alumni Board of Governors, having previously served as a member, officer and chairman in several committees. In 2002, he and his wife established the Christopher and Mary Stratakis Endowed Professorship in Corporate Governance and Accountability at Drexel.

Mr. Vidas is the former Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Communication Systems Corporation (ACS). He joined ACS after serving as the President and Chief Executive Officer of SEMCOR, Inc. (now Titan Systems Corporation). Mr. Vidas co-founded SEMCOR, a high technology consulting and development firm, in 1967. Under his leadership, the company grew to employ approximately 1,200 individuals with 42 offices in 24 states before Mr. Vidas sold the company to ACS in 1998. In 1986, Mr. Vidas was selected as the All-Time Football Great of Drexel University for recognition by Pop Warner Little Scholars. A three-year letter winner in football and two-time All-America selection, Mr. Vidas is a member of the Drexel Athletic Hall of Fame, and the Vidas Athletic Complex is named in his honor. In 2001, Mr. Vidas was named to the Alumni Circle of Distinction for the College of Engineering. In 2005, he was inducted into the National Commission for Cooperative Education Hall of Fame. He also served on the College of Engineering Advisory Board.
