Each year, Drexel Alumni awards scholarship funds to current students through the Drexel Alumni Scholarship Program. The call for applications is now open. Please review the criteria and eligibility requirements before submitting your application. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Nicholas P. Pipino Memorial Scholarship

• Deadline: 5/01/24 by 5 p.m. ET
• Award Range: $2,500 to $10,000 one-time scholarship award

This scholarship is available to full-time students who are currently sophomores, pre-juniors, or juniors. The scholarship will be awarded based on financial need, involvement in on-campus activities, and community service. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and be in good standing. To apply, a letter of recommendation is required. Recipients will be formally recognized at the 31st Annual University City 5K on May 11.

About the Scholarship
In 1992, Nick's life was tragically cut short outside Cavanaugh's Restaurant & Bar, where he worked while pursuing his undergraduate degree at Drexel University. In keeping with Nick's love for the outdoors, the University City 5K has been organized since 1993 as a way to make something positive come out of Nick's untimely death. Proceeds from the race have supported the scholarship for 30 years.
