Mr. Briggs retired from his position as President and CEO of QVC, Inc., a cable television shopping network, in 2006. He remains President Emeritus. He had been with QVC since its inception in 1986, becoming President and CEO in 1995. Mr. Briggs has held a variety of positions at QVC including President and Executive Vice President of Electronic Retailing, Executive Vice President of Programming & Merchandising and Senior Vice President for Marketing Planning. Under his leadership, QVC's revenue grew from $1.5 billion in 1994 to $7.1 billion in 2006. Prior to QVC, Mr. Briggs served as Vice President for Marketing at The Franklin Mint. In 2005, Mr. Briggs received the Fashion Footwear Association of New York Humanitarian Award. He was also the recipient of the Delaware Valley Entrepreneur of the Year Award and a Humanitarian Award from the Strang-Cornell Breast Center for QVC's leadership role in National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. He has been the Honorary Chair of Cable Positive, the cable industry's AIDS action organization, and also served as a Director of the Philadelphia Theater Company and the Electronic Retailing Association. He is currently serving on the Board of Trustees of the Wistar Institute. In 2008, Mr. Briggs established the Briggs Family Boost Award for an incoming undergraduate student in the LeBow College of Business.

Mr. Clegg is the former Owner, Chairman, and CEO of Nobel Education Dynamics, Inc. He joined Nobel Education in early 1992 when he was brought on by the Board of Directors to bring financial stability to the company. Starting out as a newcomer to the education industry, Mr. Clegg took a small private childcare company that was virtually bankrupt and built it into the largest operator of non-sectarian private schools in the United States, educating more than 25,000 students in 174 schools in 15 states. In 1995, Mr. Clegg received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Delaware Valley for tuning around Nobel and growing the business. Mr. Clegg started his career as an aerospace engineer in the 1960s and was running several small companies by the time he was 37. Mr. Clegg also held positions with such Fortune 500 companies as Xerox Corporation and IBM Corporation. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Ferguson International Holdings, PLC (UK); The Woods Schools; the Graphic Arts Association; and President of the Education Industry Association. At Drexel, he served as a member of the Board of Trustees and the Bennett S. LeBow College of Business Dean's Advisory Council. In 1990, he was the recipient of Drexel's Mary S. Irick Award, the Key D Award, and the 20 Year Attainment from the Evening College.

Mr. Deering is Chairman of Exeter Capital, LLC, a private investment firm. He previously served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of The Rouse Company, a public real estate company, until its merger with General Growth Properties in 2004. Mr. Deering joined The Rouse Company in 1972 and was previously its Vice President and Treasurer, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Deering has served as a Director for various companies including the T. Rowe Price Mutual Fund, Under Armour, Inc. and Vornado Realty Trust. He is also a member of the Regional Client Advisory Board at Deutsche Bank Americas. Mr. Deering is a Trustee and past Chairman of the Baltimore Museum of Art; Vice Chairman of The Greater Baltimore Committee, and President and Treasurer of the Charlesmead Foundation. In addition, he has served as a Trustee of The Foundation for Baltimore Recreation and Parks, Johns Hopkins University and the Baltimore Center for the Performing Arts. Along with his Drexel degree, Mr. Deering holds a MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2006, Mr. Deering established the Raymond M. Lorantas Prize in World History at Drexel's College of Arts and Sciences. The prize is awarded to an outstanding undergraduate, based on academic performance, an interest in world history including Chinese or Japanese history, and a submitted paper on World History.

Dr. Dieter is currently the Glenn L. Martin Institute Professor of Engineering and Dean and Professor Emeritus of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. He previously served as Dean of the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland. He began his career at the DuPont Company in the Engineering Research Laboratory, where he was Research Supervisor of Physical Metallurgy. He returned to Drexel as Head of the Metallurgical Engineering Department and later, Dean of Engineering. In 1973, he joined Carnegie Mellon as Director of the Processing Research Institute, before going to University of Maryland as Dean of Engineering in 1977, serving in that position until retiring in 1994. Two of his pioneering text books were the first published his field; both are now in 3rd editions. Along with his Drexel degree, Dr. Dieter holds a ScD in metallurgical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and honors including the Delaware Valley Metals Man of the Year; education awards from the American Society of Metals, The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society, and Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration; as well as the Lamme Medal, the highest award of American Society of Engineering Education. In 1993, Dr. Dieter was elected to membership of the National Academy of Engineering. He is also a charter member of Drexel's College of Engineering's Alumni Circle of Distinction. In 2000, the George E. Dieter Professor of Mechanical Engineering was established in his honor at the University of Maryland.

Mr. Hopkins retired in 1999 as Managing Partner of public accounting firm KPMG LLP after 33 years. During his term at KPMG LLP, Mr. Hopkins served as an Audit Partner and a SEC Reviewing Partner before becoming Managing Partner in 1993 of KPMG's Philadelphia Business Unit. He has served as a Director of Charming Shoppes, Inc., SL Industries, Inc., the Woodlynde School, Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce, and Greater Philadelphia First. In addition, he served as Chairman, Director and Task Force Co-chair of the Pennsylvania Economy League Eastern Division. At Drexel, Mr. Hopkins served on the LeBow College of Business Dean's Advisory Board. Currently, he serves on the Boards of the Southwest Florida Speakers Assembly and the Bonita Springs Literacy Council.

Dr. Koerner is the H.L. Bowman Professor Emeritus of Civil Engineering in Drexel University's Civil Engineering Department at Drexel. He was also founder and Director of the Geosynthetics Research Institute. Dr. Koerner first joined the Drexel faculty in 1968 and became a professor in 1976. He is the author or co-author of ten books, including Designing With Geosynthetics and, with his colleagues, is recognized as an international leader in his field. Dr. Koerner has received a number of awards for his work, including being recognized as the Delaware Valley Engineer of the Year in 1981 and the recipient of the Award of Merit from ASTM in 1994, the North American Geosynthetics Society Award of Excellence in 1995, and the 1st T. Allen Haliburton Award from the American Society for Testing and Materials in 1996. In 2003, he received the Lifetime Achievement Award during Drexel's College of Engineering Honors Day and in 2006 was Drexel's Engineer of the Year. He is also a Charter Member of Drexel's Alumni Circle of Distinction from the College of Engineering. In addition to his degrees from Drexel, Dr. Koerner received his PhD from Duke University in 1968. Dr. Koerner and his family established The Koerner Family Fellowship at Drexel that provides fellowships to outstanding doctoral students in the College of Engineering. Over the past five years, 29 students have received these awards.

Mr. Kolb retired in 2002 as Vice Chairman of Holman Enterprises, a family-owned business that operates car and truck dealerships in southern New Jersey and southern Florida. He was also President, Director, and Board Chairman of Automotive Resources International, a subsidiary of Holman Enterprises. He served as Vice President and Executive Vice President in the 1980s, while later serving as Holman's President in addition to his Vice Chairman position. In the 1970s, Mr. Kolb worked for Automotive Rentals, Inc. and held positions including Chairman and Vice President of Finance. Prior to that, Mr. Kolb was Comptroller at Drexel University. In 2008, Mr. Kolb was inducted into Automotive Fleet's Hall of Fame at the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association's annual conference.

Mr. Leonard is Chairman of Obermayer Rehmann Maxwell & Rippel LLP, and he is Chairman of the Litigation Department and a permanent member of the firm's Management Committee. His law practice concentrates in the areas of appellate litigation, antitrust, mergers and acquisitions, commercial, administrative and regulatory issues, real estate matters and health care representation. Prior to joining Obermayer in 1992, Mr. Leonard was a Partner and Co-Chairman of the Litigation Department at Dilworth Paxson. From 1979 to 1983, he served as the Controller of the City of Philadelphia, and at the same time, he served as Vice Chairman of the Philadelphia Gas Commission. Mr. Leonard currently serves as Chairman of the Regional Real Estate Investment Fund, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Permalith Plastics and Crowley Chemical Co. He serves on the Board of Directors of lndependence Blue Cross and is a member of the Executive Committee. He also serves on the Board of Directors of PRWT, U.S. Facilities, and Ultimark Products, Inc. He is also Chairman of the Board of Governors of Hahnemann University Hospital, President of the Board of Directors of Roman Catholic High School and serves on the National Board of Directors of the Irish American Partnership. Mr. Leonard has served as Chairman and Treasurer of the Robert P. Casey for Senate Committee. He has served as the Pa. Finance Chairman for President Clinton (1993-2000) and as Vice Chairman of Finance for the Democratic National Committee (1993-2000). He also served as Chairman of the Ed Rendell for Mayor Committee. He currently serves as Chairman of an Independent Political Action Committee, Pennsylvania Values. Along with his Drexel Degree, Mr. Leonard holds a JD from Temple University School of Law. He has served as Chairman of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and as a member of the Merit Selection Committee for Federal Judges for the Eastern District of Pa. Mr. Leonard has continually been named one of Pennsylvania's "Super Lawyers," and Best Attorneys in America and he is listed in the Who's Who in the World. In 2010, Mr. Leonard was awarded the Judge Learned Hand Award by the American Jewish Committee. In 2013, Mr. Leonard received The Greater Philadelphia Area Leadership Award. At Drexel, Mr. Leonard has served as Trustee of the College of Medicine and Member of the Alumni Board of Governors and on various fund raising committees.

Physician, Occupational Medicine Specialist, Department of Medicine, Pulmonary/Critical Care, Massachusetts General Hospital and Research Scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Biological Engineering
Dr. McCunney is a staff physician in the Pulmonary and Critical Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. His main research interests are occupational and environmental lung disease, including asthma, asbestosis, silicosis, berylliosis, and health effects of mold exposure. Dr. McCunney is also a research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the Department of Biological Engineering, where he focuses on occupational and environmental lung disease. He has also been the Director of Occupational and Environmental Medicine at MIT and Medical Director of Clinical Services at Cabot Corporation. Dr. McCunney completed his residency at Northwestern University and completed an occupational medicine fellowship at Harvard. Along with his Drexel degree, Dr. McCunney holds an MD from Thomas Jefferson University Medical School, a MS in Environmental Health from the University of Minnesota, and a MPH from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a Charter Member of Drexel University's College of Engineering Alumni Circle of Distinction.

Gilbert S. Merritt, BS, College of Engineering, Chemical Engineering, 1942 (Deceased). Former Executive Vice President, Foster Wheeler Corporation
After graduating from Drexel University in 1942, Mr. Merritt served in the European Theater during World War II as a Captain with the 94th infantry division. Upon his return, he joined Foster Wheeler Corporation (FWC), a global engineering and construction contractor and power equipment supplier. Mr. Merritt served in many capacities with FWC including as Manger of the Canadian Process Plants Division, President-Director General of Societe Foster Wheeler Francaise, Manager of the Process Plants Division and Vice President of FWC, Senior Vice President of FWC, and President of Foster Wheeler International Corporation. In 1971, he became Executive Vice President; the title he kept until his retirement in 1981, after 30 years with the company. He continued to serve the company as a member of the Board of Directors for several years thereafter. During his retirement, Mr. Merritt was active in his community, as a member of the Damascus Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Director of the Wayne/Pike County Chapter of the American Red Cross. He also served as a member of the Board of Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. At Drexel, Mr. Merritt's legacy lives on through the Gilbert S. & Margaret A. Merritt Scholarship Fund that provides scholarships to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Engineering.

Mrs. Westphal retired as board co-chair of Vertex Inc., a state and local tax compliance products and services supplier founded by her husband, Rainer Westphal. She was also the founder and president of Antoinette: The Day Spa and Salon, which received the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award in 2001 and was honored by publications including Vogue Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine. In 1998, Mrs. Westphal was named Paoli Business Person of the Year. In 2002, Mrs. Westphal was honored at the Living Beyond Breast Cancer Gala. She was a Director Emerita of the Paoli Business and Professional Association and a member of the Paoli Hospital Auxiliary. She served as an event Chair for Living Beyond Breast Cancer and a Director for breastcancer.org. She served on the boards of the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, and the Main Line Chamber Panels for Women in Business. At Drexel, she received the 1998-1999 Harriet E. Worrell Award. She was the former Chair of the College of Media Arts and Design's Alumni Advocates and a member of the Friends of Design Arts. She served on the University's Alumni Board of Governors and the College of Media Arts and Design Advisory Council.
