Plenary Speakers
The conference committee always seeks the most informative and influential speakers in the world of assessment and evaluation of teaching and learning as well as accreditation. Over the years, we have welcomed Linda Suskie, Tom Angelo and Todd Zakrajsek. In 2017, the plenary speakers were Sylvia Jenkins, President of Moraine Valley Community College and Natasha Jankowski, The Director of the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment. The luncheon plenary was replaced by an panel discussion including 2 presidents and 1 vice president of the three closest regional accreditation organizations. Belle Wheelan President of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Elizabeth Sibalski, President of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and Patricia O'Brien, Vice President the Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), provided excellent insight on the current state of accreditation and higher education as a whole.
