Orientation for Global JD, LLM and Exchange Students

Welcome to the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law. We are enthusiastically planning for your start of classes! Here you'll find information on International Orientation and on some tasks you must complete before you begin classes.

Orientation

International Orientation will take place in-person, on campus beginning Monday, August 5 to Friday, August 9, 2024. Please come back soon for more information.

During Orientation, Professor Clare Coleman (ckc32@drexel.edu) will meet individually with you to plan your schedule.

Please check your inboxes for an email from Drexel’s International Students & Scholars Services office. They have been sending important information about government regulations and about a mandatory training session for students on F-1 and J-1 visas.

Bills

Professor Clare Coleman will meet with you during Orientation to register you for classes. Once you are registered, a bill will be generated in mid-August, which will be due the first week of September. You will get a bill for your Spring classes in mid-November, which will be due the first week of December.

Books

Once you are registered for classes, you can purchase books from outside vendors or at the school bookstore.

Courses

During Orientation, you will meet individually with Professor Coleman to select your courses.

Immunizations

If you need additional immunizations you have the option to get them during Orientation from Drexel’s Health Center.
