Ebola Outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo August 8, 2018 Drexel International Health Safety and Security is monitoring carefully the ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The outbreak is in North Kivu, in northeastern DRC and is a heavily populated area with frequent cross-border travel into Rwanda and Uganda. The DRC Ministry of Health is working closely with partner including the WHO and the CDC to address the situation. Currently, there are no Drexel travelers in the DRC.
