The Department of Nutrition Sciences’ Pennsylvania Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Education (PA SNAP-Ed) EAT RIGHT PHILLY Program was highlighted, with the other PA SNAP-Ed Programs in Pennsylvania, for all the work accomplished for 2019.

The infographic displays all the lives touched across the state to help children and adults achieve healthier lives through nutrition education. The EAT RIGHT PHILLY Program is led by Stella Volpe, PhD, department chair and Principal Investigator, and Judy Ensslin, MS, program director.

Volpe and Ensslin want to give recognition to the entire EAT RIGHT PHILLY Team who contribute to this impactful program every day, even remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
