Statistician

Derek Weix, MS, PhD grew up in Texas, where he earned a B.A. in mathematics from Trinity University in San Antonio and an MS and PhD in statistical science from Baylor University in Waco. His research interests include multivariate statistical process monitoring, multivariate modeling, and interdisciplinary applications. His previous research focused on applications to pilot water treatment systems; however, he is now excited to transition into a public health setting at Drexel University’s Urban Health Collaborative!
