Ana Ortigoza, MD, PhD, MPH, MS
Senior Research Scientist II
Ana Ortigoza, MD, PhD, MPH, MS, previously postdoctoral research fellow for the SALURBAL Project, is now a senior research scientist II. Since her doctoral training, Ana has worked for SALURBAL, examining urban determinants of infant and under-five mortality in cities. She leads the Maternal, Perinatal, Child, and Adolescent Health (MAPECA) working group within the SALURBAL project, which aims to produce evidence in urban health that supports actions to protect women, children, and their shared environment. She is a pediatrician by training and holds an MD from Universidad Nacional de Rosario and an MPH from Universidad de Lanus, both in Argentina; and a PhD and MS in Epidemiology from the Dornsife School of Public Health.
