To promote innovative activities and foster collaboration, the Urban Health Collaborative is pleased to request proposals to fund working groups. Working groups will engage in scholarly activities related to one of the UHC’s themes. A range of activities are of interest. Some examples include, but are not limited to:

• Research proposal development
• Planning for a journal special issue
• Development of a mini-symposium or series of workshops
• Preliminary data studies
• Planning a community-led intervention
  
  

A working group is an interdisciplinary collaboration that includes faculty and trainees. Working groups must include Drexel faculty and graduate students, and can additionally include staff, postdoctoral fellows, visiting scholars/faculty, or external participants. The maximum budget that can be requested for each award is $15,000.
