Urban Health Collaborative Researcher Awarded the Cotswold Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship

Pricila Mullachery, PhD, MPH, postdoctoral research fellow at the Urban Health Collaborative, was recently awarded the Cotswold Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship. The Cotswold Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship is intended to foster the career development of Drexel university postdoctoral researchers who are pursuing a career in academic research and are seeking long-term employment at an educational or research institution. The fellowship will provide a $50,000 award for the duration of one year. 

 

Dr. Mullachery's research program is focused on the role of policies and public health interventions on health equity. The Cotswold Fellowship will partially fund her research on innovations in state-level Medicaid policies aimed at expanding access to substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. Dr. Mullachery's research will examine the role of Medicaid policies on SUD outcomes among poor and racial minority groups.
