Implementation of the strategic plan, led by chief strategy officer, Elisabeth Van Bockstaele, began in January 2021 with the formation of an implementation CORE team followed by the assembly of twelve strategic initiative teams across three focus areas.

As established by the Executive Planning Committee, the plan's strategic initiatives—or actions—ensure we are actively pursuing our goals and will allow us to measure our progress in relation to our core imperatives.

As we execute the plan, we understand the need to remain flexible and continuously assess our progress and re-prioritize initiatives in support of our imperatives and as conditions and the market change. Throughout implementation, we are guided by our shared values.

Successful implementation of the strategic plan relies on the expertise, sustained commitment, and innovative ideas of all of our University community members and stakeholders.
