Project Group Development

Drexel Smart House provides opportunities for students to improve their public speaking skills through mock and real presentation events. With project experience and constructive feedback, Project Leaders develop a sense of confidence about their work which helps them to acquire future funding and awards.

Networking

General and active members will find many networking opportunities during their time at Drexel Smart House. There are weekly events at the house which focus on a variety of different disciplines and are open to the entire community. A number of events also have professionals from many industries as guest speakers and for company-specific networking events. Needless to say, getting involved in Smart House activities is a great way to network with the students on campus, members from the community and industry professionals alike.

Work-Study

Drexel Smart House also provides employment opportunities for the students with work-study grants. The responsibilities can range from the management of the day-to-day administrative tasks, to Smart House-developmental projects, and more. Co-op

In the past, Drexel Smart House has been able to sponsor a student doing research and administrative tasks at the house for their coop experience. There are currently no positions available for the upcoming coop cycle, but we will update our members once another position is. These position(s) are posted occasionally depending upon the requirement and availability.
