Have you ever had a creative idea but dropped it due to the lack of resources to realize it? Well, we believe the same must have happened to the founders of Drexel Smart House, which inspired them to come up with the amazing concept that our organization rests upon.
Drexel Smart House is truly a unique organization. Any student or community member with a project idea can approach us, talk through and develop their ideas into a realistic vision, and receive funding in order to take that vision and turn it into a reality. Not only this, but we also provide the Project Leaders with other essentials including:
- Our Smart House as a workspace
- Our Faculty Advisors as guiding mentors
- Persistent learning resources to develop valuable skills
Situated at the interface of Drexel University’s campus and its surrounding community, we feel proud to be driven by the ability to bring new technologies to the Philadelphia area. Many of our current projects are dedicated towards improving quality of life in the community. We need your support to extend our reach further and help more ideas get realized.
