Update: 7.21.20 - E-mail To Members

We hope this email finds you safe and healthy. At this time, we are working hard on our reopening plans for the Drexel Recreation Center. Our staff looks forward to serving you when we announce our plans in the near future.

The City of Philadelphia recently announced that gyms can reopen as of Monday, July 20. While we are permitted to reopen, we want to ensure that we are doing so with health and safety at the forefront to meet the needs of the Drexel Community. Drexel is currently in the summer quarter and with classes currently being held virtually, we feel the time is not yet right to open our doors. We are working closely with our University colleagues to ensure that we will provide a safe environment for your fitness and wellness needs once we do reopen.

In the upcoming weeks, we plan to be in touch to let you know our reopening plans. We will update you on our reopening date, new reservation procedures, facility hours and protocols and measures we will be taking at that time.

In the meantime, please continue to take advantage of our robust Virtual Rec Center with live group exercise classes, on-demand classes, IMPACT training, eSports, and trivia.

If you have any belongings in a locker and would like to retrieve, please e-mail Tyisha Butler at tnb36@drexel.edu for details.

Be sure to follow us on FacebookTwitter, & Instagram for the latest updates.
