Institutional Effectiveness Committee

The Institutional Effectiveness Committee was formed in September 2018 in an effort to utilize Drexel's resources effectively by providing efficient processes, technology and excellent service. The committee is comprised of a cross-section representation of the colleges and divisions at Drexel, including faculty and administrative representatives.

The committee is charged with eliminating barriers to success and collaboration across the university, while ensuring efforts are appropriately prioritized and consistent with the University's strategic direction.

The committee will determine the best strategy for identifying existing and potential barriers to success and collaboration, including procedural, political, systemic, and technological barriers. Once identified, processes that cause frustration, delays, or financial drain will be redesigned through a full analysis of potential solutions, including the consultation of key stakeholders, to increase efficiency, satisfaction, and results.

University-wide Effectiveness Survey

In November 2018, the committee released a university-wide survey asking for efficiency and improvement recommendations from Drexel faculty and professional staff. The committee has reviewed the results and presented recommended focus areas to President Fry, Provost Blake and EVP Bowman. Action planning groups, consisting of faculty and professional staff, are being formed to draft and implement project plans for improvements. All project plans and progress updates will be available through this site.
