Piper is currently a senior dance major at Drexel University. Born in Massachusetts, she started her training at Terpsichore Dance Center and later joined the junior company of Cantarella School of Dance. She performed in many shows of The Nutcracker with the professional company Albany Berkshire Ballet. So far at her time with Drexel, she has taken a 2 week intensive with 2 time Bessie Award winner Maria Bauman, completed a 5 week study abroad at the Trinity Laban Conservatory and has worked with many guest choreographers. She recently was an intern in New York City with Broadway Dance Center where she appeared at many events alongside the company. Her goal is to dance in musical theater shows combining her love of dance, singing, and acting.  

For her senior thesis project, Piper is collecting research about choreographers of Broadway throughout the years with the end goal of producing a short documentary. The documentary will include embodied elements from specific choreography as well as classes taught with specific styles collected from research. Through this project she aims to immerse herself in all types of musical theater and to educate herself on the history of Broadway as she is interested in having a career in musical theater in the future. Her senior project will be presented along with Rebecca Wolin and Samantha Sienkiewicz on May 17th 2026 at 7:30pm at & Space located at 1021 Hamilton St #302, Philadelphia, PA 19123.
