Pull Back the Curtain: A Philly Theatre Podcast is a senior project by Entertainment and Arts Management senior Margaux Cattelona. The podcast aims to inform the next generation of theatre managers about the strengths and weaknesses in our industry, using the experiences and voices of marginalized genders, including women, non-binary, and trans artists. Each episode features a different artist from Philly theatre, who speaks about their work in the industry and how they want to see Philly theatre improve in the future.

The first episode was released on February 17th, 2021. Episodes were released weekly on Wednesdays, mid-February through May, and each episode ranges from 30 minutes to 1 full hour. All artists were compensated for their time.

The podcast featured 14 artists from Tiny Dynamite, Theatre Philadelphia, Theatre in the X, Paper Doll Ensemble, 11th Hour Theatre Company, the Wilma Theater, the Kimmel Center, and more over its 13 episodes. To see who is featured each week, check out @pullbackthecurtainpod on Instagram!
