2023 Theatre Graduates
June 13, 2023
We congratulate our graduating Theatre Program seniors!
We asked our seniors to share a sentiment on their time with Drexel Theatre. Here's what they had to say:
The Drexel Theatre Program has been like a family to me since freshman year. The work we do is incredibly challenging at times but the people I get to work with and the art we create has always made it more than worth the effort. So, so many of my friendships at Drexel were formed through the Theatre Program, friendships that I believe and hope will last long after graduation. I thank everyone that’s supported and encouraged me throughout the years and I’m so grateful to the Theatre Program for providing that support and outlet for expression.
Drexel Theatre has been instrumental in preparing me for the world of professional entertainment. Some of my best friends and closest mentors alike came from my time in the program. I even find myself often quoting professors from Drexel Theatre in my young career. For the past year, I have been working at Bucks County Playhouse in support of producing, presenting, and general management. In the fall, I will be headed to Penn Carey Law to pursue a career as an entertainment lawyer!
The Drexel Theatre Program has been instrumental in my college career. I’m so grateful to have spent 4 years working with such a supportive group of talented students and faculty. I’ll be taking the skills I’ve learned in our Theatre Company to Helium Comedy Clubs as I start as their new Marketing & Box Office Assistant.

The Drexel Theatre Program provided me with so many opportunities to grow as a performer and as a person as well as providing me with a home and a community. I will forever value the lessons I've learned and the people I've met and will take the professional skills I've developed with me as I pursue my career in professional theatre.
Joey credits Drexel Theatre for so many fabulous friends, experiences, and moments—his favorite being the Cabaret class’ performance. He now works for an NYC Opera Company!
