Nathaniel Lemisch is a sophomore currently studying Music Industry at Drexel University with minors in Business Admin., Computer Science, and Music Performance. He has played in many of the musical ensembles here, including the Fusion Band, Jazztet, Jazz Orchestra, and Rock Ensemble. During the last Fall term, he assisted the Jazz Orchestra in recording and mixing their virtual holiday concert, which included arrangements of Duke Ellington’s “Nutcracker Suite” as well as other holiday classics.
Music has been a passion for Nathaniel ever since he went to music camp as a little kid. He picked up guitar in second grade, followed shortly after by percussion in fourth grade. He pursued both of these instruments throughout high school, playing guitar for the high school jazz band and tenors for the marching band. But it wasn’t until he took a music technology course that he realized music production was his dream job.
Nathaniel is also involved with Flux, the live sound club, and volunteers with MDCR, the community studio at the Dornsife Center. He hopes to continue playing and creating music for the rest of his life.
