Bruce Kaminsky, M.M. is a working musician, which means that he multi-tasks. As a bassist, he has worked with jazz greats Tal Farlow and Jimmy Knepper. As a jazz festival producer he has worked directly with legends Dizzy Gillespie and Chick Corea. As an entrepreneur, he created KYDD Products, Inc. the maker of KYDD electric upright basses, the KYDD Bass Lab in conjunction with Roland US and the KYDD Piano Sound Reflector. He holds two US patents. As a pioneer in World Music, Bruce performed for the signing of the Israeli-Jordanian Pease Accord at the United Nations with the Middle Eastern music group, Atzilut. He created the Arab/Jewish music group The Spice Route Ensemble which performs Middle Eastern music residencies in schools and the Garage Band Jam Band that introduces students to digital music technology. As an educator, Bruce is an adjunct professor at Drexel University where he created the Drexel Mediterranean Ensemble and the Drexel Bass class. He also teaches Music History at Montgomery County Community College. Bruce is married to theatrical costumer, Lorraine Anderson and has two children, Jacob and Aviva.
