Alissa Zrein

Alissa Zrein grew up dancing in several local studios scattered across the outskirts of Boston, MA. She is currently studying dance at Drexel University and will graduate with her BS in 2017. At Drexel, she has studied with Tania Isaac, Jennifer Morley, Meredith Rainey, Olive Prince, Valerie Ifill and Miriam Giguere as well as worked with other professionals such as Lindsay Browning, Beau Hancock, KC Chun-Manning, and Clyde Evans. She became an apprentice of Olive Prince Dance in January of 2016 and has been rehearsing with the company since then, as well as been assisting the company as an administrative assistant. She has choreographed two original works for Drexel Dance Ensemble and has remounted a work on the Drexel FreshDance Ensemble. She plans to show her most recent work, Exposing the Threshold, in the 2017 American College Dance Association Festival in Ohio at the end of March.
