Abby Toll is a junior Entertainment and Arts Management major, with a concentration in theatre. From the time she was 6, she knew she wanted a life in the arts, which the Drexel theatre program is allowing her to do. Being the type to take charge, her high school director picked her out and groomed her to be a stage manager, which she continues to do today. Over the last two years, she has immersed herself in the Drexel theatre program and couldn’t be more thankful for what it is allowing her to do. The theatre program has taught her life lessons that she couldn’t have gotten anywhere else. Because of Drexel, she has been introduced to a professional environment as well as the professionals in the Philadelphia theatre scene.
From the connections she made, her professional resume continues to grow. Some credits include, Blood Wedding (Philadelphia Artists Collective W/ Drexel), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Drexel), Rage of Achilles (Commonwealth Classic Theatre Company), and Little Shop of Horrors (Drexel). Currently she is Stage Managing Commonwealth’s production of The Lion in Winter, which will run all of August. After that she will move on to Stage Manage Ironage Theatre Company’s Fringe piece in September.
