Many fellowships and scholarships provide opportunities for undergraduates interested in public service to develop leadership skills, deepen their knowledge of relevant topics, build professional networks, and enter the pathway to a public service career. This session will provide an overview of awards open to undergraduate students pursuing careers in government, public policy, international affairs, non-profit organizations, research, or other sectors that advance the public good. Awards discussed include the Truman Scholarship; Pickering, Rangel, FAIT, Clarke DS, and Payne Fellowships for Foreign Service; Udall Scholarship, Boren Scholarship, Carnegie Gaither Junior Fellows, and Public Policy & International Affairs (PPIA) Fellowship.
