Congratulations to Darrell Omo-Lamai, who has been selected as a finalist for the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program! Darrell is Drexel's first finalist for this highly selective award.

Each year the Knight-Hennessy Scholars program selects up to 100 high-achieving students from around the world with demonstrated leadership and civic commitment to receive full funding to pursue a wide-ranging graduate education at Stanford, with the goal of developing a new generation of global leaders.

Darrell is completing his final year of a BS/MS degree in materials science and engineering. He intends to pursue a PhD in materials science. He has been involved in the Pennoni Honors College through the Honors Program, the STAR Scholars Program, the Aspire Scholars Program, SuperNova Undergraduate Research Fellows, and UREP Ambassadors.

This weekend, Darrell will be attending Immersion Weekend on Stanford’s campus where he will participate in interviews in the final stage of the selection process. We are so proud of his hard work and commitment, and wish him the best of luck at Immersion Weekend!
