This workshop will guide participants through a series of brainstorming and generative writing exercises to help them develop content for fellowships applications and personal statements, and to begin organizing that content into a narrative structure within the constraints of the application prompts. It is specifically geared towards applicants for the Knight Hennessy Scholars, the Rhodes Scholarships, the Marshall Scholarships, the Gates Cambridge Scholarship, and the Fulbright US Student Program, but anyone preparing for a competitive application process with a substantial written component may find these exercises helpful.
Other support resources may be available to Drexel students and alumni applying to these and other competitive external fellowships. Please see drexel.edu/fellowships for more information.
