In 2022, the Lindy Center honored members of our community who dedicated their time to making social change through a new "civic engagement shout out" initiative in lieu of our traditional awards. Below you will find a link to a booklet showing all of the "shout outs" that were submitted, either by self-nomination or by other members of our community. We distributed this booklet during our end-of-year award ceremony and celebration on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, which also included short speeches by graduating student leaders Isabella DiBlanda (CIVC 101 course assistant and former Drexel Community Scholar), Khadija Koita (Office Administrator and former Drexel Community Scholar), and Alexis Wiley (Community-Based Learning Course Assistant). Thank you to everyone who submitted and received these "shout outs" and everyone in our community who worked toward making the world a more just, equitable place for all people during the 2021-2022 year; we have so much appreciation for the students, faculty, staff, and community partners who sustain our work and look forward to what next year has in store!
