We connect students with educational, service, leadership, and relationship-building opportunities so they can be agents of social change in their local and global communities.
We support faculty and students leading Community-Based and Engaged Learning experiences—infusing this pedagogy into academics to make students more informed, engaged, and reflective about social issues.
We engage in mutually-beneficial partnerships that intentionally mobilize University assets for positive impact and value community members and organizations as educators and collaborators.

Phoebe is a CIVC 101 Course Assistant and volunteer with Sharing Excess Drexel Chapter doing food recovery, encouraging people to donate meal swipes, and free food pop-ups to fight food insecurity. Phoebe says, "Being civically engaged keeps me involved and aware of peoples' experiences that may be similar or differ from my own and possible societal issues that would otherwise be unbeknownst to me." She feels her Lindy leadership experiences have "made my Drexel experience well-rounded in both values and academics." Learn more about Sharing Excess
