• "Virtual Reality Clinical Simulation (VRCS) Lab to enhance nursing education and practice"
  Project Statement
  To develop and establish a virtual reality (VR) lab that will be used to complement the well-established simulation learning lab used for training health professionals.

• "Polythiophene Polymer-Based Conductive Fabric Process for Smart Textile Applications"
  Project Statement
  This proposed project seeks support for initial material costs, equipment access, and tooling development necessary to formulate, characterize, and utilize a conductive polythiophene polymer for smart textile applications.

Civic Engagement

• "Piloting Health Assessment Curriculum among West Philadelphia Youth to Build Civic Engagement Self-Efficacy"
  Project Statement
  The proposed project will support an interdisciplinary team of Drexel graduate students to pilot a health impact assessment curriculum among West Philadelphia youth, and assess youth satisfaction and short-term impacts of the curriculum on civic engagement and research self-efficacy.

  Project Statement
  Launch a podcast that builds an inclusive local innovation-ecosystem by engaging artists, scientists, designers, engineers, researchers, makers, futurists, entrepreneurs, activists, community stakeholders, and policy-makers in Philadelphia to collectively envision a more inclusive and equitable future for the City of Philadelphia.
