Bio:

Ben Ledoux is a freshman studying Computer Science with a concentration in Game Programming and Development. Ben is currently conducting research at the Entrepreneurial Game Studio under Dr. Frank Lee and Corey Arnold as part of the STAR Scholars Program. In his free time, Ben experiments with small coding projects and listens to podcasts.

The area his research explores is ‘gamification,’ or how game design principals can be applied in other disciplines. Ben is also interested in investigating the methods video games use to promote player engagement and if the same methods could be implemented in an educational setting.
