The English Language Center Admissions Process Support Program (ELCAPS)

Each phase of the Drexel English Language Center Admissions Process Support Program provides appropriate and timely guidance through the college and university application process. The remote component during the Fall session will immerse you in the process of applying to colleges and universities, test preparation, and essay writing as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Program Information

• Each phase of the program is designed to supply appropriate and timely guidance through the college and university application process. The remote component during the Fall 1st half session will immerse them in the process of applying to colleges and universities, test preparation, and essay writing as quickly and efficiently as possible.
• As soon as students arrive at Drexel, they will build on and continue their progress through customized courses and workshops which will not only provide continued support but also accountability as they navigate the process.
• There will also be opportunities for participants to engage in community service activities that will keep them engaged, provide them with opportunities to practice their English and learn American culture, and help them build a stronger college application that shows volunteerism.
• A cohort of students may apply for admission to ELC each academic year beginning in the Fall quarter and after. The ELC will offer flexibility with start dates to accommodate students’ schedules that will be unknown until release of government scholarships each year. This includes starting the Fall first half remote quarter the second week of September
