Bio

Diana Steif started at the ELC in 2025 after leaving the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, where she worked as the Operations Director for over 10 years. She earned her MS (2006) from Drexel University in Science, Technology and Society after matriculating from the International Area Studies program (now known as Global Studies and Modern Languages).  During her third year at Drexel, she studied abroad in Costa Rica which inspired her thesis topic for the completion of her Masters while at Drexel University. Following her studies at Drexel, Diana worked with the Fairmount Park Commission on green space initiatives, completed her tenure with the Peace Corps in Bolivia and started a family. When she’s not at Drexel, you’ll find her biking around the city, gardening, checking out live music, playing games with her kids, and learning new culinary masterpieces.

At the English Language Center, Diana is responsible for the financials and operations of the Center and supporting students with their e-bills and health insurance.
