About the Institute
The Drexel Cybersecurity Education Center supports Drexel’s longstanding tradition of excellence in and commitment to cybersecurity education. This tradition and commitment are demonstrated by:
- Drexel’s recognition for over twenty years as an NSA Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD)
- Drexel’s state-of-the-art undergraduate (Bachelor of Science in Computing and Security Technology) and graduate (Master of Science in Cybersecurity, Ph.D.) degree programs which have graduated hundreds of cybersecurity professionals
- Drexel’s CyberDragons student group in which students teach students about cybersecurity principles and practice, and the student team in which our students participate (and often win) intercollegiate cybersecurity competitions
- Drexel’s world-class cybersecurity faculty

- Drexel CyberDragons - The CyberDragons are the official Drexel University student group for all students interested in learning more about cybersecurity, regardless of background, experience, knowledge, or degree program. The most technically proficient members of the CyberDragons form the Drexel Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) Team, and participate in regional and national cybersecurity competitions
