Waltkeem Jenkins, Community Health Worker Peer, and Arturo Zinny, program director, both in the Healing Hurt People program at the Dornsife School of Public Health's Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice, were quoted in an April 28 Philadelphia Inquirer article about how Philadelphia hospitals are adding staff with life experiences that can help to address the emotional, as well as physical, toll of violent crime.
