The team at the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice is actively engaged in the community, participating in tabling opportunities, speaking engagements, and gatherings hosted by supporters of our anti-violence work. Below are some photos that capture some of these moments.

Our Community Outreach Team (and Lisa from Healing Centered Learning) represented CNSJ and supported the next generation Samuel Fels High School's Career Day in May 2025.

In May 2025, Healing Hurt People (HHP) had the opportunity to provide a training for the newly formed Office of Community Advocacy and Engagement at the Philadelphia Police Department. Sarah, Tyreek, Rosemarie, and Waltkeem (pictured above with Executive Director Ayanna Greene-Davis) led the session, where they shared information about trauma and HHP services with 10 victim advocates.
