Slavery's Trauma: Teacher's Lack of Empathy Generations in the Making

John Rich, MD, a professor in the Dornsife School of Public Health, and co-director of the Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice, was mentioned in a June 20 USA Today opinion piece that argued that talking about trauma is not an attempt to downplay Black success, but instead is a call for the United States to rectify abuses that caused long-term damage.
