Reporting

Drexel University is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for students, faculty, professional staff and guests. This commitment includes ensuring that the University complies with its own policies and with federal, state and local laws prohibiting discrimination and harassment based upon race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity and expression, veteran status, genetic information, and any other characteristic prohibited by law. Services will therefore be provided regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity and expression, veteran status, genetic information, and any other characteristic prohibited by law.

Drexel's policies on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, and Retaliation and Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct provide timely, fair, thorough, private and dignified processes for handling and investigating complaints of discrimination, harassment and misconduct, including sexual assault.

If you are a mandated reporter, or have questions about mandatory reporting, please review the Office of Civil Right Compliance's flowchart guide [PDF]. To learn more about reporting discrimination, harassment or misconduct at Drexel, please refer back to the policies and to the two pages in this section:

Make a Report

The incident reporting form is Civil Rights Compliance's preferred and primary method for receiving reports. Using this form ensures that Civil Rights Compliance has the most secure and complete information necessary to make informed decisions concerning report response and the health and safety of impacted individuals and our Drexel community. However, if for some reason you are unable to submit the report, please contact Civil Rights Compliance by phone (215.895.1405) or email (civilrights@drexel.edu) to relay your report or to gather additional information about reporting.

Reporting parties will not be contacted or updated after a report is received unless additional information or clarification is required. Civil Rights Compliance takes privacy very seriously and only shares information on a need-to-know basis.

If you are a mandated reporter, please refer to the Mandated Reporting at Drexel University guide [PDF] for information about your responsibilities, on-campus and off-campus resources, and conversational suggestions with a student or colleague in need.
