Turkey Project 2023

Thanks to the generosity of the Drexel community, the 50th Alumni Turkey Project provided 2,800 holiday meals, complete with turkey and sides, to recipients in the Greater Philadelphia area!

During this milestone year, Dragons participated in a number of different ways to support Drexel’s longest-running alumni tradition.

Nearly 900 generous donors raised more than $90,000 to provide turkey dinners to those facing hunger or food insecurity during the holidays.

Volunteers rallied together to pack bags of non-perishable sides at Sharing Excess. A week later, Dragons met on campus to provide community partners with turkeys, side dishes and uplifting messages from the Drexel community on Distribution Day.

The Turkey Project’s longstanding legacy and continued impact on our local communities is made possible because of you. Check out 2023 highlights below, including ways to make difference in your local communities, and stay tuned for more information on the 51st Alumni Turkey Project.
