Edinburgh, UK is the epicenter for global creativity each August when the city hosts the annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe (The Fringe) for over three full weeks. In 2017 alone an astounding 53,232 performances of 3,398 shows in 300 venues took place, and Drexel students were there for every minute of it as part of the Drexel Summer Break in Scotland: Edinburgh Fringe Intensive. 

BioDesign Challenge is a special topics course that will be offered this winter term and is open to all undergraduate and graduate students. Participants will work towards a coveted spot in the annual BioDesign Challenge Summit, an annual competition held in conjunction with the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA).

Tony Award-winning Broadway producer and New York Times bestselling author, Vivek Tiwary, will return to campus this fall to deliver Jagged Little Pill, a public lecture that speaks to his work bringing Alanis Morissette's iconic album to the stage.
