The overall theme of the Award is “Light of Tomorrow.” It is open to any registered student of architecture – individual or team – worldwide. The Award, which encourages multi-disciplinary teams including engineering, design, and landscape architecture, challenges students to explore the theme of daylight in architecture. The Award does not require the use of VELUX products. The Award is organized in cooperation with the International Union of Architects and the European Association for Architectural Education. Both organizations are represented on the jury and contribute to the high professional standards of the Award.
