Curriculum - Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy
Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences
The DPT curriculum is a combination of didactic work that is reinforced with a variety of clinical experiences to prepare you for successful clinical practice in a multitude of health care settings.
Specific courses within the curriculum make use of our faculty practice sites and our affiliation with local heath care organizations such as Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital, United Cerebral Palsy, to provide you with practical experience in lectures and labs. In addition to those experiences, you will spend 38 weeks engaged in clinical education at diverse sites.
