Rising 2L Discusses Intersectionality at LGBT Bar’s Lavender Law Conference

Jaleelah Abdulai, a rising 2L, will serve on a panel at the LGBT Bar’s Lavender Law Conference and Career Fair in Philadelphia on Aug. 7.

Abdulai will join a panel of professionals to take part in “A Comparative Discussion on the Intersectionality of American, Civil and Islamic Jurisprudences and its Impact on Everyday Life.”

The panel will also feature commentary from Imam Daayiee Abdullah of the MECCA Institute, attorney Adeel Mangi of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, software company founder Badreddine Ouali and attorney Alfred Zaher of Montgomery McCracken.

Abdulai completed an internship as a 1L summer associate at Montgomery McCracken.
