  • SANS Security Training (DUST)
    • This training teaches participants how to recognize and protect themselves against cyberthreats.
    • We encourage students, faculty, and staff to take our new security training, D.U.S.T. (Drexel University's Security Training).
    • Students, faculty, and staff can request access at https://drexel.litmos.com/
    • Attendees receive an official SANS security training certificate upon completion. The certificate is free for the Drexel community.

       

  • Splunk Training (eLearning)
    • Splunk is a multinational corporation focusing on producing software for searching, analyzing and monitoring big data.
    • Splunk offers multiple single-subject courses in the Knowledge Manager and Search Expert learning paths.
    • You will have access to the videos for 12 months. Additionally, eLearning offerings with labs will allow you to access the labs up to three times over the 12-month period. Each lab access lasts 4 hours.

  • Palo Alto Academy
    • Palo Alto is a leading cybersecurity company focusing specifically on advanced firewalls.
    • The Palo Alto Academy offers applicable course for both staff and faculty or students.
    • Courses utilize modules and hands-on labs to improve threat-prevention skills.
    • Courses help prepare users for the Palo Alto Networks Certification.

    • Tenable is a cyber exposure and vulnerability assessment program.
    • The Tenable University courses help its users attain skills ideal for security analysts while also improving the technical skills required to utilize the Tenable interface.

  • CIS SecureSuite
    • To bolster its information security efforts, Drexel IT subscribes to the CIS SecureSuite resources: CIS Benchmarks, CIS-CAT Pro, and CIS Controls. These are resources developed by global experts to protect organizations against pervasive and dangerous cyberattacks.
    • All Drexel University faculty, staff, and students can access the CIS SecureSuite resources. To register, go to https://workbench.cisecurity.org, click “Register Now”, and complete the registration form using your “drexel.edu” email address. After a simple account validation step, you will receive an email indicating that your registration has been activated. On your first login take the tour to become familiar with the resources.
