4 Steps to Electronic and Information Technologies Compliance

The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) recently issued a resolution agreement with the University of Montana as a model for institutions to use to ensure their electronic and information technologies (EIT) – online content, learning management systems, online/hybrid courses, etc. –  are accessible and compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  Many institutions often have questions about the appropriate ways to audit EITs and build an action plan to support long-term compliance.  During this webinar, L. Scott Lissner ADA Coordinator at The Ohio State University and former President of the Association of Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD), will discuss compliance standards and considerations for building a strategic plan to help meet the accessibility model set forth by OCR.

The event is being co-sponsored by Drexel University eLearning, the Office of Equality and Diversity (OED), and the Office of Disability Resources (ODR).
