Honors Convocation

The Goodwin College Honors Convocation is convened each spring to recognize recipients of academic awards and scholarships endowed by the “Evening College” alumni for the support of adult learners pursuing degree programs through part-time study at Drexel University’s Goodwin College. Goodwin holds a reception for the award recipients and their guests before the formal ceremony recognizing the students for their academic accomplishments. This ceremony has been held annually since at least 1963 when it was called simply “Honors Night” and included a commencement ceremony for “Evening College” graduates.
