The Goodwin College of Professional Studies, alongside Drexel’s Center for Military and Veteran Services hosted the inaugural Veteran Graduate Recognition Celebration, a congratulatory dinner in honor of the graduating veterans of the Class of 2023 on Thursday, June 8. Graduating veteran students, including those who entered through the Military Transition Program (MTP), joined fellow graduates, University leadership and campus partners to celebrate their accomplishments, network and enjoy dinner.

“Throughout their time at Drexel University, these veterans have exemplified the true meaning of perseverance and resilience. They have faced unique challenges, shouldered immense responsibilities, and yet, they never wavered in their pursuit of excellence,” said Tina Marie Coolidge, EdD, director of Goodwin programs and recruitment. “The event was a joyous celebration of their remarkable journey, uniting our community in a shared appreciation for their service and accomplishments and was a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting and recognizing our veterans' contributions.”
