The primary function of this office is to provide administrative support and guidance for faculty in the College of Nursing and Health Professions in developing, implementing and disseminating research. The Office is managed by the associate dean for Research who is responsible for planning, promoting and coordinating a supportive culture of research within the College of Nursing and Health Professions.

Rose Ann DiMaria-Ghalili, PhD, RN, FASPEN, FAAN, FGSA, senior associate dean for Research, is the chief research officer for the College and is responsible for overseeing the Office of Research, Discovery and Innovation and its staff, developing and supporting research and scholarship activities in CNHP, as well as advancing strategic partnerships between internal and external entities.

Arun Ramakrishnan, PhD, director of Research Labs, is responsible for regulatory and quality compliance, oversight of lab facilities and equipment and assisting researchers in technical aspects of measurement and software programming.
