Fall 2024 Rubert Trust Recipients
September 5, 2024
Alexa Fredo and Alexa Blankenbiller have been selected to receive a $15,000/year scholarship until their graduation. This award comes from the William E. and Theresa M. Rubert Memorial Trust. Mrs. Rubert was a graduate of the Hahnemann School of Nursing, which has now become the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions. The Trust provides scholarships for pre-junior, full-time students attending Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professionals. Mrs. Rubert was so appreciative of the financial assistance she received for her nursing education, she wanted to give back to other students what had been provided for her.
To qualify, the students must have at least a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate a financial need. To-date, the Trust has awarded more than 82 scholarships having a value of over two million dollars.
Congratulations to our new Rubert Trust recipients!
